Baseball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Sunday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-6 heartbreaker at the hands of the Rolla Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-6 on Saturday.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 17-14. As for Rolla, the victory was the 15th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-7.

Central wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 11-5 loss against Springfield Catholic on the 10th. Rolla has also already played their next matchup (against Helias), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
