Softball Recap: Centerburg Trojans vs. Big Walnut Golden Eagles

Centerburg's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Big Walnut Golden Eagles by a score of 6-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-2 back in March.

Centerburg's win bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Big Walnut, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-9.

Coming up, Centerburg will challenge East Knox at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Big Walnut, they will be playing at home against Highland at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Golden Eagles are facing the Fighting Scots at the right time seeing as the Fighting Scots are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
