Baseball Recap: Cincinnati Country Day Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

Cincinnati Country Day's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Madeira on Tuesday. The Nighthawks were the clear victors by a 10-2 margin over the Norwood Indians. The Nighthawks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Indians, too.

Evan Robinson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Robinson was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, Elijah Guttman was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one triple and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Levi Guttman, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.

The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Norwood, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
