Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Larkin). They managed a 59-55 victory over the Prairie Ridge Wolves on Friday. This was payback for the Royals, who suffered a 63-53 loss the last time these two teams met.

Larkin's win bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Prairie Ridge, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Larkin will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Streamwood at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Prairie Ridge, they and Naperville North will meet in a canine-themed contest at 3:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
