Baseball Recap: Somerville Comes Up Short

Somerville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the Mumford Mustangs, falling 22-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 on Tuesday.

Somerville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Mumford, they pushed their record up to 24-5 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Somerville is set to take on their familiar foe Milano at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Mumford will square off against rival Richards at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
