Volleyball Recap: Parkland Picks Up Sixth Consecutive Win

Parkland waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. Everything went their way against the Germantown Academy Patriots as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Trojans also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Parkland was especially dominant in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-21, 25-15.

Kasia Burda paced Parkland's offense, picking up 14 kills. Burda got some help from Alex Serina and her 32 assists. Josee Kim controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Parkland's win bumped their record up to 15-6-1. As for Germantown Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-6-2 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Parkland will challenge Allentown Central Catholic at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Germantown Academy, they will square off against Gwynedd Mercy Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
