Basketball Recap: Fort Osage Comes Up Short

Fort Osage lost against Park Hill back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Fort Osage Indians took a 60-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Park Hill Trojans. The game marked the Indians' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Fort Osage has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season. As for Park Hill, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fort Osage will square off against Chrisman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Fort Osage is facing Chrisman at the right time seeing as Chrisman is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Park Hill, they will take on North Kansas City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. North Kansas City knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Park Hill likes a good challenge.
