Volleyball Recap: East Carter Comes Up Short

East Carter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Russell Red Devils, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

East Carter's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Russell, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 20-5.

Looking ahead, East Carter will challenge Fleming County at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Russell, they will host Lewis County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
