Basketball Recap: Skyline Comes Up Short

Skyline was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Medicine Lodge Indians, falling 53-14. The Thunderbirds were not able to make up for their defeat to the Indians from their previous meeting back in December of 2024.

Kooper Wesley was Skyline's leading scorer, having posted four points. Wesley also led the team in rebounds with seven.

Skyline's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Medicine Lodge, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Coincidentally, Skyline and Medicine Lodge will both be playing Kiowa County the next time they take the court. The Indians will head out to face the Mavericks at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Thunderbirds will head out to face them at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
