Softball Recap: Seven Straight Home Wins for Angleton

Angleton won the last time they faced Santa Fe and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Wildcats came out on top against the Indians by a score of 8-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

Lily Calderon was incredible, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, one run, and one double. Alyssa Orozco was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

Angleton's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Santa Fe, they moved to 12-11 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coincidentally, Angleton and Santa Fe will both be playing Ball the next time they take the field. The Indians will host the Tornadoes at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Wildcats will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
