Volleyball Recap: Navarre Takes a Loss

Navarre had taken Tate down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Thursday. The Raiders fell 3-1 to the Aggies. The Raiders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Aggies apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Navarre was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Tate work for it, especially in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-12, 21-25, 25-15, 27-25.

Despite the loss, Navarre still got an impressive performance from Isabel Gutierrez, who had 13 digs and four aces.

Navarre's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Tate, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Navarre will challenge Milton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tate has already played their next contest (against Pensacola Catholic), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
