Softball Recap: De Pere's Winning Streak Snapped at Six Games

After flying high against Sheboygan North on Monday, De Pere came back down to earth. The Redbirds fell 8-4 to the Pulaski Red Raiders on Tuesday. The Redbirds' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

De Pere saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addison Krutz, who went 3-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. Another was Ava Krepline, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

De Pere's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Pulaski, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-9.

Coincidentally, De Pere and Pulaski will both be playing Green Bay Southwest the next time they take the field. The Redbirds will host the Fighting Trojans at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Red Raiders will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
