Baseball Recap: Lincoln Charter Extends Home Winning Streak to Seven

There's no place like home for Lincoln Charter, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against the Community School of Davidson Spartans by a score of 8-4 on Wednesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-4 on April 8th.

Christian Cherry was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high.

Lincoln Charter's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-5. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Community School of Davidson, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-8.
