While St. Francis's victory against Marquette wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Gladiators' defense stepped up to hand the Sentinels a 1-0 shutout on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in April.

The win made it two in a row for St. Francis and bumps their season record up to 8-6. It's not like the team was facing easy opposition over that stretch either, as it included 7-2 Leland (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 70.7% over those games). As for Marquette, they moved to 7-4 with that loss, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.
