Softball Recap: Warren Triumphs

Eight must be Warren's lucky number: they beat Erie with that score not once but twice on Thursday. The Dragons beat the Royals by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 8-2. The victory continues a trend for the Dragons in their matchups with the Royals: they've now won nine in a row.

Warren's win bumped their record up to 6-3-1. As for Erie, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Warren will venture away from home to square off against Meadville at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Bulldogs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.5 runs per game on average), something the Dragons will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Erie, they will head out to face off against Titusville at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
