Pomperaug's victory bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Notre Dame Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 2-7.
Pomperaug beat Notre Dame Prep 23-13 in their previous meeting back in November of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Pomperaug since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
