Football Recap: Pinckney Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Pinckney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 44-6 defeat at the hands of the Chelsea Bulldogs. The game marked the Pirates' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Justin Miner threw for 165 yards and one TD. Armond Oleski was his top target, picking up 30 receiving yards.

Pinckney's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Chelsea, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pinckney will host Carrollton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Pirates will be up against the Cavaliers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 56 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Chelsea, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Lincoln at 7:00 p.m.
