Cordova waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 1-0 W against the Bristol Bay Angels. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wolverines have posted since September 26th.

Victoria Nothstine paced Cordova's offense, picking up two kills. Nothstine got some help from Willow Tiedeman and her three assists. Nothstine was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Cordova's win bumped their record up to 13-2.

Cordova wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 1-0 loss against Tri-Valley on the 9th. As for Bristol Bay, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Sand Point on the 9th.
