Basketball Recap: Clayton-Bradley Academy Triumphs

While Clayton-Bradley Academy has struggled at home with seven straight losses, that wasn't the case on Tuesday thanks to Aaron Rodgers. The Clayton-Bradley Academy Blazers pulled ahead with a 49-48 photo finish over the Apostolic Christian Academy Flames thanks in part to Rodgers, who went 7 for 15 en route to 18 points and five boards. He also posted a block, marking his first of the season.

Luke Mancuso was another key player, putting up four points and three steals. That's the most steals he has posted since back in January of 2024.

Clayton-Bradley Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-13. As for Apostolic Christian Academy, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Berean Christian the next time they take the court. Apostolic Christian Academy will head out to face Berean Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Clayton-Bradley Academy will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
