West Valley hasn't had much luck against Tahquitz recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The West Valley Mustangs will host the Tahquitz Titans at 3:15 p.m. The last three games West Valley has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

West Valley is headed into the matchup having just suffered their closest loss since April 13, 2024 on Saturday. They fell just short of Redlands by a score of 5-3.

West Valley saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nate Navarrete, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Ricky Garcia also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Meanwhile, Tahquitz put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on Indio with a sharp 13-2 win. That 11 run margin sets a new team best for the Titans this season.

Tahquitz pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 7 runs. As for West Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.
