Basketball Recap: Paul Robeson Huskies vs. String Theory
Paul Robeson gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the String Theory String Theory 69-15. The win was some much needed relief for the Huskies as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak dating back to last season.
Jasir Tyler had a dynamite game for Paul Robeson, going 5 for 7 en route to 13 points plus five assists and five steals. Kobe Butler was another key player, going 5 for 10 en route to 12 points plus two steals.
String Theory dropped their record down to 1-1 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Paul Robeson will square off against George Washington at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for String Theory, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against High School of the Future at 3:15 p.m.
