Tom Lemming's Look at the Top 25 Tight Ends in the Class of 2011
Good tight ends, with their size and ability to catch the football, can be a matchup nightmare for defenses. Add in the ability to block and open up lanes, and you have what could be the missing piece that makes an offense “click.”
It remains to be seen, however, who will land the top ranked tight end in the class of 2011, as Jay Rome is uncommitted. The top committed player is Austin Seferian-Jenkings, who will take his talents to Washington next fall.
