Softball Recap: Santiago Takes a Loss

Santiago lost against Esperanza back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Santiago fell just short of Esperanza by a score of 3-2.

Santiago now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Esperanza, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Santiago will challenge Dana Hills at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Esperanza, they will face off against Canyon at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Canyon's pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so Esperanza's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
