Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology came up short against Smidt Tech on Friday, falling 3-0. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it 13 in a row.

Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-17, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Valley Oaks CES got the win against CHAMPS on Monday by a conclusive 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vanguards.

One reason for the win was Valley Oaks CES' just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-11, 25-9.
