The Bothell Cougars will face off against the Juanita Ravens at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Bothell sitting on five straight victories and Juanita on four.
Bothell barely beat Hazen the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cougars never let the Highlanders get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Wednesday. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by seven runs or more this season.

Teyton Hardeman made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one double, and one RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Wyatt Mickelberry was incredible, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. That's the most doubles he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Drew Marino, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Bothell was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .455. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hazen only posted a batting average of .125.
Meanwhile, Juanita hadn't done well against Lake Washington recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Ravens came out on top in a nail-biter against the Kangaroos, sneaking past 10-8. With that victory, the Ravens brought their scoring average up to 6.1 runs per game.
Jonah Schroeder was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. The team also got some help courtesy of Eric Munchinsky, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run.
Bothell's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-6. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Juanita, their win bumped their record up to 12-7.
Bothell couldn't quite finish off Juanita in their previous meeting on April 4th and fell 5-3. Will the Cougars have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more baseball content.
