 Edgewater is 8-2 against Boone since November of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Eagles are taking a road trip to  take on the Braves  at 7:00  p.m. Both teams are still undefeated after nine games, but that won't be the case come Thursday.
Edgewater's offense will try to repeat the strong performance it gave  last Friday, when they got past Dr. Phillips' usually-dominant defense. The Eagles simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Panthers 35-6. With the Eagles ahead  35-0 at the half, the  matchup was all but over already.

 Damian Moore was  his usual excellent self, rushing for 123 yards and four  touchdowns while picking up 7.7 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional  recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 123  rushing yards.
 Edgewater's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB  three times. The team can thank two different players for their defensive prowess:  Mike McClenton and  Aiden Anderson, who each picked up 1.5  sacks apiece. Another thorn in Dr. Phillips' side was  McClenton, who picked up  1.5  sacks and made eight total tackles (5.5 for loss).
Meanwhile,  winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Boone). They claimed a resounding  63-0 victory over Freedom. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Braves just coasted through the last quarter.
 Boone didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Kaulen Liberty and  Lagarion Wilson. Wilson got in on the action too, converting a pick  into a touchdown.
 Edgewater's record now sits at 9-0. As for Boone, their record is now an identical 9-0.
 Everything came up roses for Edgewater against Boone in their previous meeting  back in November of 2024, as the  team secured  a  42-14 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
