Volleyball Recap: Denmark Comes Up Short

Denmark was the 2-1 winner over Marietta when they last played one another on Friday, but their luck changed this time around. Denmark took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Marietta on Saturday.

Azariah Ehima paced Denmark's offense, picking up five kills. Ehima got some help from Leah Johnson and her six assists. Ehima was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Denmark's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Marietta, they now also have a winning record of 3-2.

Denmark wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Creekview on the 14th. As for Marietta, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Walton on the 12th.
