Soccer Game Preview: Jarrell vs. Burnet

The Jarrell Cougars will square off against the Burnet Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Jarrell will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Jarrell will bounce into Tuesday's contest after beating Austin Achieve, who they had gone 0-6 against in their six prior meetings. The Cougars sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Polar Bears on Tuesday. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Jarrell were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Burnet and Austin Achieve finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Friday.

With that draw, Burnet's record moves to 3-7-3. As for Jarrell, their win bumped their record up to 10-2-2.
