Soccer Recap: Lawrence County Takes a Loss

Lawrence County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the West Point Warriors, falling 6-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against West Point this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 two weeks ago.

Lawrence County's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for West Point, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-3-2 record this season.

Lawrence County will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on West Morgan at 6:30 p.m. on April 1. As for West Point, they are taking a road trip to take on Mae Jemison at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. West Point is facing Mae Jemison at the right time seeing as Mae Jemison is stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
