Volleyball Recap: Shawano Community Comes Up Short

Shawano Community was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Middleton Cardinals.

Natalie Bystol paced Shawano Community's offense, picking up 13 kills. Bystol got some help from Julia Stuber and her nine assists.

Kelsey Peterson was the offensive standout of the contest as she had seven digs and two aces. That's the most digs she has posted over her last ten matches.

Shawano Community's loss dropped their record down to 14-21. As for Middleton, their win bumped their record up to 18-12.

Shawano Community didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Kaukauna on the 18th. As for Middleton, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Pewaukee on the 18th.
