Baseball Recap: Miller Comes Up Short

Miller came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 9-3 to the Grove City Christian Eagles. The Falcons have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Miller saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Logan Doughty, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Miller's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Grove City Christian, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-8-1.

Miller does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Grove City Christian, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 5-2 victory against Bexley on the 20th.
