Baseball Recap: Sycamore Comes Up Short

Sycamore fell victim to Waverly Central and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Waverly Central Tigers, falling 6-0.

Sycamore saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Conner Jones, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one double.

Sycamore's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Waverly Central, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sycamore will venture away from home to square off against Cheatham County Central at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Waverly Central, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Waverly Central Tigers duke it out with Lewis County Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
