It was a good run, but North Surry unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the East Surry Cardinals by a score of 27-24. Despite 51 more yards than the Cardinals, the Greyhounds couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.
