Soccer Recap: Brandywine Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Brandywine kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Wilmington Charter Force, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Brandywine of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Wilmington Charter has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brandywine will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Odyssey Charter at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wilmington Charter, they will challenge Conrad Science at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The match will give Wilmington Charter their first taste of in-conference action this season.
