Baseball Recap: West Marshall Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Saydel, West Marshall was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They won by a run and slipped past the Des Moines Christian Lions 3-2. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Trojans as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

West Marshall's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Des Moines Christian, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Coming up, West Marshall will be playing in front of their home fans against South Hamilton at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Des Moines Christian, they will face off against Interstate 35 at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Roadrunners will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Lions surely won't give up without a fight.
