Basketball Recap: Flippin Snags Seventh Victory in Last Nine Games

Flippin won the last time they faced Yellville-Summit and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Flippin Bobcats walked away with a 52-44 win over the Yellville-Summit Panthers. Given the Bobcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 40th, while the Panthers are ranked 137th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Flippin is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which lines up perfectly with their 21-6 record this season. As for Yellville-Summit, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Flippin Bobcats take on the Valley Springs Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Yellville-Summit, they will take on Melbourne at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
