The Telstar Rebels will head out on the road to take on the Forest Hills Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Telstar is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.1 runs per game this season.
On Tuesday, Telstar made easy work of Rangeley Lakes and carried off a 15-1 victory. The win continues a trend for the Rebels in their matchups with the Lakers: they've now won three in a row.

Bryson Walker made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and two runs. He is becoming a predictor of Telstar's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 1-4 when he doesn't).
In other batting news, Brody Walker was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Connor Deprey, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Telstar was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .467. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Rangeley Lakes only posted a batting average of .118.
Meanwhile, Forest Hills entered their tilt with Carrabec on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 5-4 W against the Cobras. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Tigers have posted since May 22, 2024.
Telstar pushed their record up to 9-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Forest Hills, their record now sits at 5-3.
Everything went Telstar's way against Forest Hills in their previous matchup on May 8th, as Telstar made off with an 11-1 win. Do the Rebels have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
