Basketball Recap: Castleford Comes Up Short

Castleford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Camas County Mushers, falling 63-39. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Mushers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 56-41 loss back in January.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Camas County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Clancy Rablin, who went 8-for-14 en route to 24 points along with seven boards and three steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Rablin has scored at least a third of Camas County's points. Quinn Palan was another key player, going 6-for-11 on his way to 15 points and six rebounds.

Castleford's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Camas County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-9.

Castleford does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Camas County, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 59-47 loss against Carey on the 19th.
