Heartland skates past Overland Christian with ease

Recap: Heartland Mustangs vs. Overland Christian Eagle
The Heartland Mustangs waltzed into Tuesday's match with three straight wins but they left with four. They really took it to Overland Christian for the full four quarters, racking up a 72-31 victory at home. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 41-18.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Heartland to victory, but perhaps none more so than Zach Stone, who scored 27 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayce Maiden, who scored 18 points along with 9 rebounds.
Heartland's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Overland Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Heartland will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Outreach Christian at 7:30 p.m. As for Overland Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Christian Learning Center at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
