There's no place like home for Cardinal Newman, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Windsor Jaguars on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. This was a revenge game for the Cardinals: when they faced off against the Jaguars on April 3rd, they had to take a 3-2 defeat.

While Cardinal Newman won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-16, 25-22.

Kahlio Vaetoe paced Cardinal Newman's offense, picking up 19 kills. Vaetoe got some help from Carter Logan and his 34 assists. Vaetoe was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Cardinal Newman pushed their record up to 8-10 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Windsor, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season.
