Greenville lost to Heritage back in September of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Comets walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Hawks.

Ava Potthast paced Greenville's offense, picking up three kills. Potthast got some help from Ada Jefferson and her three assists. Finally, Alison Nemnich kept Greenville's defense grounded, leading the team with seven blocks.

When it comes to explaining why Heritage lost, don't look at Addison Hopper. Despite the final result, she had 19 digs. Hopper is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Greenville's win bumped their record up to 2-3-1. As for Heritage, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5-1.

Greenville has already played their next match, a 1-1 tie against Cerro Gordo/Bement on the 6th. As for Heritage, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Altamont on the 6th.
