Soccer Preview: St. Patrick Hunts for Offense After a Cold Stretch

The St. Patrick Shamrocks will square off against the Saint Ignatius College Prep Wolfpack at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. St. Patrick's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

St. Patrick is likely headed into the matchup with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Chicago Mt. Carmel on Thursday. The Shamrocks fell just short of the Caravan by a score of 2-1.

Meanwhile, neither Saint Ignatius College Prep nor Fenwick could gain the upper hand on Thursday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

With that draw, Saint Ignatius College Prep's record moves to 7-5-3. As for St. Patrick, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5-2.
