Basketball Game Preview: Fairmont Senior Polar Bears vs. Sissonville Indians

The Fairmont Senior Polar Bears will take on the Sissonville Indians at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Thursday, Fairmont Senior made easy work of Liberty and carried off a 65-40 win. The Polar Bears have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 25 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Sissonville strolled past Point Pleasant with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 52-35. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' West Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 79th, while the Big Blacks are ranked 482nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory made it two in a row for Fairmont Senior and bumps their season record up to 7-2. As for Sissonville, their win bumped their record up to 3-10.
