Castle came tearing into Tuesday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 55-48 victory over the Gibson Southern Titans. That's more bragging rights for the Knights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Castle's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Xander Niehaus, who posted 13 points and five rebounds. Niehaus has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last eight times he's played. Brady P Reiter was another key player, putting up six points and three steals.

Despite the loss, Gibson Southern still got an impressive performance from Brodey Lamb, who went 7-for-15 on his way to 21 points along with six boards and four steals. That was a full 43.8% of Gibson Southern's points, marking the third time in a row he's put up more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Connor Marvel, who scored 11 points and seven rebounds.

Castle's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-9. As for Gibson Southern, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-5.
