Basketball Recap: Chippewa Falls Comes Up Short

Chippewa Falls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Hudson Raiders, falling 67-27. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 75-27 back in December of 2024.

Chippewa Falls' loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Hudson, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Chippewa Falls Cardinals face off against the River Falls Wildcats at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Hudson has already played their next game (against Stillwater), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
