Football Recap: Bennett Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Bennett extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 16 on Friday, dropping them down to 0-9. They had to suffer through a 58-12 loss at the hands of the Strasburg Indians. On the bright side, the 12- point performance marked the Tigers' highest-scoring matchup to date.

As for Strasburg, the win keeps them at an undefeated 9-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 40.6 points this season.

Cade Hemphill continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 237 yards and three TDs while picking up 13.9 yards per carry, and also catching one score. Those 237 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Brody Hopwood, who threw for 154 yards and four touchdowns.

Bennett does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Strasburg, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Basalt at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Longhorns will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.
