Basketball Recap: Charles City Takes a Loss

Charles City was the 39-37 winner over King & Queen Central when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Charles City Panthers fell 32-22 to the King & Queen Central Royal Tigers on Tuesday.

King & Queen Central's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kimora Hill, who posted seven points. Janiya Brown was another key player, putting up seven points and five steals.

Charles City's record now sits at 7-6. As for King & Queen Central, their win bumped their record up to 5-8.

Charles City wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Carver College and Career Academy on the 23rd. King & Queen Central has also already played their next matchup (against Middlesex), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
