Basketball Recap: Newburyport Takes a Loss

If Newburyport was feeling good fresh off their 54-33 takedown of Amesbury on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Newburyport Clippers received a blow on Saturday as they fell 33-14 to the Amesbury Redhawks. The Clippers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Redhawks earlier this season, when they won 54-33.

Newburyport's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Amesbury, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-3.
