Byng has gone 8-2 against Lone Grove recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Byng Pirates will square off against the Lone Grove Longhorns at 6:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Byng lost 49-23 to Latta on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Pirates can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 252nd, while the Panthers are ranked 14th).

Meanwhile, Lone Grove unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of Davis by a score of 56-54.

Byng's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Lone Grove, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-7.

Byng took a serious blow against Lone Grove in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, falling 38-10. Can Byng avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
