Baseball Recap: Fayette Falcons vs. New Bloomfield Wildcats

Fayette was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 9-3 to the New Bloomfield Wildcats. The Falcons were not able to make up for their loss to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in May of 2021.

Payton Oeth put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off ten hits (and only one walk). He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
